LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will no tender resignations in Sindh at any costs.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that he was not a spokesman for any institution. “Meetings are not an important matter,” he added.
The minister challenged that he had headed 14 ministries and anyone could approach the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against him.
He said that the railways will restore the old timetable from October 15. “Railways’ doors for those getting salaries will be closed forever,” he added.
Sheikh Rasheed admitted that prices of 11 daily-use items had gone up. “I will get flour and sugar subsidized,” he added.
He said that the government would conduct the by-election on the seats vacated by the opposition through the resignations.
