ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will present a progress report of what it has achieved in its two years of governance today.
According to the sources, the federal ministers will brief the media on PTI-led government’s two-year performance.
Federal Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz, Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Special Assistant on Information Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa and others will take the masses into confidence through the media on the government’s two-year performance in the Perss Information Department (PID) at 11:00am.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be among the ministers who will brief the media. The federal ministers will also inform the media about the internal and external challenges faced by the government.
Minister for Communications Murad Saeed released two-year performance report of his ministry. The National Highway Authority (NHA) saved Rs750 million through austerity drive, announced by PM Khan, after assuming charge of his office.
“219 vehicles were auctioned in first 100 days”, the report stated and added that acquisition of land also increased between 2018-20 as compared to 2016-18.
The revenue of NHA was increased upto Rs50billion, while Rs12.57million were recovered by the authority during the period. The chas also released list of eight projects of NHA under public-private partnership in line with the vision of PM Imran Khan.
