LAHORE (92 News) – The opposition has agreed to summon all parties conference (APC) after Eidul Azha.
It was agreed upon during a meeting between PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and a PML-N delegation on Monday.
Talking to the media after the meeting, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that they are trying to dismiss the government at the earliest. “People’s life will be made more and more difficult if the government’s tenure is prolonged,” he said.
PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the situation is not satisfactory and they will have to come up with the expectations of the masses. “PM Imran Khan is also in a mood to leave at the earliest,” he said.
Sources revealed that the opposition had agreed to activate the old Rahbar Committee. Representatives of other opposition parties will also be included in the committee.
The committee will decide the date and joint agenda of the APC.
During the meeting, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto also talked to PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif on phone. Both agreed to make the proposed all-parties conference meaningful.
Meanwhile, Bialwal Bhutto headed a virtual meeting with regard to the party’s media strategy.
Maula Bukhsh Chandio, Dr Nafeesa Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chaudhry Manzoor, Munawar Anjum and Palosha Khan, Mir Hassan Murtaza, Ijaz Dhamra attended the video link meeting.
The meeting discussed the strategy to highlight the incompetence and corruption of the masses.
